This incident began around 2130 on the Monday evening, with of an attendance of 10 pumps, 2 aerial appliances, High Volume Pump, Control Unit and Canteen Van. I understand that this may have been the first serious incident for the new Control Unit based at Bolton-le-Sands. I attended just after mid-day on Tuesday 7 November, and with all cordons lifted I was able to photograph a number of appliances and the smouldering remains of the building.
