From memory, this particular fire began in the basement of a multi-occupancy premises. As a result 7 people lost their lives whilst working on the top floor. The whole building was gutted, with the exception of one workshop on the second floor, where musical instruments were repaired. The damaged instruments seen below were in the actual shop rather than the workshop. My wife's violin was in for repair at the time. It was subsequently returned undamaged.
