A2/E57/E42 HYDE

In 1974, much of North East Cheshire became part of  the new Greater Manchester County, and consequently a number of Cheshire County Fire Stations moved into GMC, including Hyde.

At a time when the brigade was purchasing mainly Dodge appliances,
1988 saw the arrival of E462WND one of a batch of six Dennis SS appliances.

BA Tender K129XRJ was seen at an 8 pump fire in Armentieres Square, Stalybridge shortly before withdrawal.
The photograph was taken 14 February 2005.

After service at Mossley and Bolton North, Dennis DFS237 L609DDB was reallocated to Hyde.
It was seen as support pump for the BA Tender at a 15 pump fire in Hollinwood, 9 August 2001.
