Leyland Limousine JM4465 which served with
Kendal before being absorbed into Westmorland in 1948.

Although not the best of pictures, Bedford
Pump Escape CJM510 just had to be included.
Shown here whilst allocated to Windermere,
it began life at Kendal in 1955, being the first post-war appliance in
Westmorland.
The bodywork is by Myers & Bowman.

With pictures of the other 3 Karriers actually
carrying their station name, by process of elimination, this must have
been the Kendal appliance.
It was seen 'for sale' in Bury, 10 March 2006.
Karrier GJM447 was seen in new ownership looking
extremely smart in summer 2008.

Karrier Water Tender was seen at Kendal where
it was being used as a Driver Training Vehicle.

Former Kendal Volvo Water Tender F114HAO moved
to Maryport
and was seen in Workington after a 12 pump
fire at the Safeway Supermarket, 3 March 2003.
Volvo H484TRM was seen at Kendal before the
additional striping was added. [see below]
