In my former archive section, I tried just to include pictures that were no longer generally available. However, I have felt for quite some time that I have many appliance pictures that are still worth including but which don't find a place in either the normal pages or in the archive section. Furthermore, it happens quite often that when I remove an appliance picture because it has been replaced by a new appliance, that requests come in for copies of the 'old' appliance.
So as well as going back to the heyday of my Kodak Brownie Box Camera, I can now also include appliances right up to the present time, but which may only be in use as reserves. As previously, wherever possible, I have generally included pictures on the station page where the appliance was first allocated. Obviously the quality of the pictures varies enormously, but I hope you will agree that they are still worth including. Many of the pictures have been kindly donated to the site, and all details of previous ownership are acknowledged where possible.
To assist navigation the index now includes full listings of which pictures are available. Pre-1974 stations are listed under the present brigade.
