C52/E7 RAINFORD

This picture dates back to 1972 when the station was C52 in Lancashire County.
In 1974 it was absorbed into the new Merseyside Fire Brigade and became E7 until closure in the early 90's.
The building is now used as a Funeral Parlour.

Although no longer in use as a fire appliance, it was felt worthwhile including this picture of Dennis RS133 DWM612Y.
It began life at Rainford, and was seen languishing in Birkenhead Docks, 2 Janauary 2006.
