This picture shows the Burnley Road Station in September 1972
with a Bedford KH parked at the side, temporarily out of service.

Ford DRN885S seems a likely replacement for one of the Bedfords, and is believed to be parked by the old station.

On the forecourt of the present fire station, with the drill tower still under construction, is Ford D1617 MCK819T

First of the Leyland Freighters here was D108TRN with bodywork by Fulton Wylie.

The second Leyland Freighter here was G142 JFR seen at a 7 pump mill fire in Rising Bridge on 17 April 2003.
 

After disposal G142JFR  was used as a 'party' fire engine.  It was seen adjacent to the A49 at Marus Bridge on 18 March 2005.
