This picture shows the Burnley Road Station
in September 1972
with a Bedford KH parked at the side, temporarily
out of service.
Ford DRN885S seems a likely replacement for
one of the Bedfords, and is believed to be parked by the old station.

The second Leyland Freighter here was G142
JFR seen at a 7 pump mill fire in Rising Bridge on 17 April 2003.
After disposal G142JFR was used as a 'party' fire engine. It was seen adjacent to the A49 at Marus Bridge on 18 March 2005.
